Our story:

Hi there! We are Troop 3, Kamakura city, Kanagawa prefecture, Japan.

image5On 19-20 June 2015, 50 Girl Scouts and leaders, including two Girl Scouts from the U.S. gathered at the historic Kencho-ji temple. The Kencho-ji was built more than 700 years ago in Kamakura and looked beautiful in the season of hydrangeas.

We enjoyed the programme- Brownies from aged 7-9 at first took time to understand the FBM program, but learnt a lot from Junior Scouts, aged 10-12, as they had many good ideas and thoughts.

Leaders were impressed that the Girl Scouts strengthened their self-confidence, showing compassion to other people through the interactive activities. We believe that this program gave them an immersive Girl Scouting experience.
