Day One
The very first Free Being Me training programme for Indian Leaders began today at Sangam! After the flag ceremony and Namaste Sangam, we jumped in to the first sessions.
We found out about the Dove-WAGGGS partnership, the concepts behind the curriculum, and how the Free Being Me activities work. We were all busy with different activities, discussing in groups subjects like how to make Free Being Me attractive for our leaders in India.
After our training activities, we all enjoyed celebrating Rachel’s (Sanagm’s marketing and communications intern) birthday in grand manner!
Then came the most attractive heartfelt moment of the day, the “Welcome Ceremony” – which was done solemnly in the traditional way of Sangam. One and all enjoyed each moment of the ceremony and a memory to treasure for a lifetime.
