Our first Action on Body Confidence workshop

Through taking part in fun and interactive activities in the Free Being Me programme, children and young people learn that body confidence and self-esteem comes from valuing their bodies, standing up to social pressures, and supporting others to be more body confident. By working together, leading others and speaking out, participants become empowered to make a difference in their local and global communities. This programme is a partnership between Dove and WAGGGS. Action on Body Confidence is a new badge programme which supports children and young people to develop and run their own advocacy projects, advocating for real change that will affect girls’ lives and create a more body confident world. Action on Body Confidence is a 5-session programme for children and young people aged 7-10 and 11-25. You can now watch video footage from our first Action on Body Confidence workshop, which took place at The National Headquarters of Bharat Scouts and Guides, India New Delhi, from 16-20 November.
